South Park features two playground sets, tennis court, pond, benches and swings and a picnic shelter. Plans are underway for a band shelter, walking path and a waterpark.

North park boasts a softball field, tennis court, sand volleyball court, a variety of playground equipement, and two picnic shelters.

The Swimming Pool Park, of course, features the swimming pool, which is heated. Swimming lessons are offered for swimmers of all ages and the Swim Team hosts two meets each summer. a picnic shelter and playground equipment are additional features.

The Baseball and Softball Field Complex features one baseball field and two softball fields. Youth baseball for boys and softball for girls is available for kids age 5 and up. The PGDC Honkers/Hutchies is a high school club baseball team that runs April - May. Platte also has an amateur baseball team.
