Description:

A
peaceful, quiet time in the country awaits
you!
The
Barn Bed & Breakfast has a relaxed ambiance,
which will revitalize the spirit, and give
you precious time to ponder the meaning
of life.
Stroll or bicycle down country lanes, observing
adjacent fields of grain, cattle peacefully
grazing, a wide variety of wildlife activity,
pick mulberries and wild plums in season.
Visit our miniature horse, miniature donkey
or the potbellied pigs.
Traveling
with horses? We have corrals and horse stalls
available. A well - marked horse trail along
the Missouri River welcomes horseback riders
as well as hikers. See where Lewis &
Clark traveled and bald eagles still soar.
Our
B & B is in the
of great grandpa's barn. Lawrence Welk's
band provided the music for barn dances
held in this and other area barns, back
in the '30s. We remodeled the barn and have
made our home on the first floor of the
old horse and dairy barn. The loft has a
private entrance and four sleeping rooms,
each with a private bath. Each
has a unique decor of the early 1900s. There
are large lounge areas with telephone, and
satellite TV. Our library contains a wide
variety of books in addition to approximately
50 years of old National Geographic magazines.
The open loft above the rooms has a pool
table, board games, a kitchenette, and 4
single bunks.
