Bright Beginnings Learning Center offers a pre-school program, in addition to childcare. Two programs are available: one for four- and five-year-old children, and one for three- and four-year-old children. Curriculum is focused on fostering the growth of the child, with opportunities for children to practice their listening skills, social skills and creativity. The alphabet, numbers and pre-reading skills are part of the curriculum. The preschool program runs from August through May, following the Platte-Geddes School system. The hours are 8:15-11:15 a.m. Monday through Thursday.
Munchkinz is offered to children who turned 4 years old by September 1st. Children who attend this program expand their creativity, self-confidence, social, fine motor and cognitive skills. This program is a complete kindergarten readiness curriculum. Munchkinz is offered three mornings a week for a consistent schedule so the children are confident and well prepared to meet all the challenges of kindergarten. Children receive high quality developmentally appropriate instruction designed to prepare each munchkin for success in school. The mission of this program is to provide experiences that will promote children’s development of self-confidence, independence, creativity, and inquisitive thinking in order to become healthy, well mannered, socially well-adjusted and high academic achievers!
